Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands has been the event sponsor for CPAS Charity Dinner since 2016. As part of its commitment to create resiliency for the vulnerable through Sands Cares, Marina Bay Sands has made a positive impact improving the quality of lives of CPAS beneficiaries with their continuous support and sponsorship. Highlights of Marina Bay Sands’ contributions include:  
2018 Assisted CPAS in the procurement of a hydraulic bus equipped with dedicated wheelchair spaces.
2019 Contributed to the purchase of physiotherapy equipment which enables us to better serve our beneficiaries.
2020 Contributed to CPAS Assistive Technology Hub which included procurement of Mobilia Casa Nursing Bed, Obi Feeding Robot, Accessible Kitchen & Furniture, Electrical & Plumbing works, Automated Shower System and maintenance fee.
2021 Funded the purchase of digital learning tools such as smart TV, Laptops and Proloquo2go application to facilitate CPAS School for Digital Learning and Communication.
2022 Sponsored CPAS programmes and services such as:
  • The TD Pilot (Eyegaze) for Speech & Language Pathology​ for students with several physical limitation in using switches. These students are trained to use eye-gaze for accessing ipad, for leisure and communication.
  • The ‘iPad with Apple Pencil’ for Day Activity Centre for clients to expand their communication abilities and for leisure activities like drawing and playing games.
  • A 12-month Art Programme for GROW (Goodwill, Rehabilitation, and Occupational Workshop).
2023 Funded resources for Speech & Language Therapy Department including items such as the TD Pilot Eye-Controlled communication device, iPad, specialised feeding utensils, and other oro-motor tools for therapy purposes.
