Admission Criteria for the Day Activity Centre
Clients will be assessed for admission by our trans-disciplinary team, consisting of the DAC Executive, Training Officer, Social Worker, Physiotherapist, and Occupational Therapist.Basic Admission Criteria
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident regardless of race, language or religion
- Between 18 to 55 years
- Disabilities pertaining to physical, sensory development, intellectual (IQ level of less than 70), autism or other developmental conditions or a combination of the list
- Free from infectious diseases
- Not suffering from serious psychotic disorders and/or serious behavioural problems that require him/her to be under close individual supervision or nursing care
- No medical anomalies such as prolonged psychiatric episodes or epileptic seizures
