Paediatric Psychological Testing Services (Open to the Public)

The Psychology department at CPAS provides a broad array of diagnostic testing for a range of behavioural issues, developmental concerns and learning difficulties. Some examples of such issues include ADHD, Autism, Complex Trauma and Specific Learning difficulties.

Psychological testing may help uncover previously undiagnosed disorders such as ADHD and if diagnosed at an earlier age, accommodations as well as appropriate follow up treatment may be advised in order to mitigate apparent clinical difficulties that the child may encounter within a school setting.

Educational assessment such as school readiness assessment will aid children transiting from EIPIC to SPED schools, to understand their functioning ability holistically (in terms of cognition, neurology and emotional control). Understanding a child’s functioning from a psycho-pathology perspective would ensure that the child receives targeted services in the SPED school.

Our Psychological Testing Services include:

  • Autism Assessment
  • Educational Assessment (including cognitive testing, school readiness assessment, specific learning abilities)
  • Neurodevelopmental/Behavioural Assessment (evaluation of a child’s neuro-developmental weaknesses and strengths to optimise a child’s ability to learn)
  • Complex Trauma
  • Dynamic Testing (seeks to identify the skills that an individual child possesses as well as his/her learning potential)
  • Play Based Assessment (to evaluate early learning skills to contribute towards the child’s learning needs)
